Honestly, that’s a very tough question as I think the synergy between them all and the P6 Pro is excellent. Given that basis, its more of a question of which is your fav IEM and to be honest when I travel I bring several of the ones you mentioned depending on my mood :)

You have given glowing reviews to the synergy between then dap and several excellent iems (ext,evo,Odin,phonix).
While this maybe be a tricky question I have to ask – for you, what the is “money no object” best iem pairing for the p6 pro?

(As an aside I am particularly curious about the Traillii but perhaps you haven’t tried this with the dap)

Using its balanced output it should do ok actually. The Elite is not that hard to drive.

Is this the top DAP you might recommend to someone who prioritizes 1) *sound* 2) portability over stuff like user interface, streaming (and budget!) I use VE monitors fyi (Elysium, EXT). And how far off is something like the Hiby rs6 really? (perhaps you have nothing to add on this on top of what you’ve already written, which is fine)

Finally, how well do you think this could integrate as a dac into a desktop system -maybe paired with something like an oor/hypsos combo, or other- to properly drive more demanding headphones?

Ideally, at this price, I am looking for a “classic” that will deliver some special listening for a few years to come, with some flexibility in terms of use cases.

Oddly enough I use the P6 Pro line out with the OOR/HYPSOS myself so I can vouch for it being a nice pairing. And yes, it is superior to the RS6 but then I would expect that given the price difference. I also use the EXT and Elysium with the P6 Pro.
