That’s a devilishly difficult word to gauge – ‘reasonably’ :) I would say it won’t sound horrible but the more power you give the Susvara the better it sounds.

Because we don’t have one to compare with. Also, the Hugo 2 does have a built-in amp. If you read carefully we compared the Hugo 2 DAC supplying both its headphone amp and the C9 amp to get a very even comparison of both of their amplification performances.

I get it was on hand, but the inclusion of the Hugo 2 (that doesnt even have an actual amp) and not the BX-2Plus (very clean, high end portable amp) seems weird.
