I do not have a Horus to compare but by all accounts I am being told the Horus is much more neutral and transparent whereas the Janus D is more , well more of what I described in the review lol

Wonderful write up on this cable. I’d have to agree with you on every detail mentioned and am a fortunate owner of the Basso version of this cable (awaiting my Dynamic which should arrive tomorrow), in addition to the 8w Horus and 8w Leonidas. as a fellow audiophile/engineer i’m always looking for the best sounding and highest quality in music. have gradually moved up the ranks in the IEM/CIEM market, originally coming from the great introductory Shure IEMS (SE315,SE535,and SE845) and cables and now on the Empire Ears Zues XR and Empire Ears Legend X. Have found I enjoy using the Janus Basso and Horus 8 with the Zues XR while leaning towards the Leonidas 8, and likely the Janus Dynamic, for use with the Legend X. nothing more enjoyable than being able to swap out for the appropriate sound source. All very AMAZING products.
