Yes, the Phi is a little harder to drive than the V2. Both the Phi and the V2 need good power to be honest.

The Elite is still quite an easy to get along with sound signature but more neutral or cleaner than the Empyrean. I still think its quite a contrast to the Phi though and much easier to drive. Phi still on a higher level for me but the cost to get it to sing is a lot more.

Elsewhere, you have talked about the complementary nature of the performance of the Meze Empyrean and the Abyss Diana Phi, respectively, and the differences in what they have to offer. I wonder where you think the Meze Empyrean Elite falls in this comparison, and how you think the Elite stacks up with the Diana Phi. Is the Elite on a higher level?
