What are you pairing it with? I had reservations about some amplifiers while others sounded excellent.

Obviously, with vague and distant treble, any kind of visceral realism is impossible to grasp especially with delicate solo instrumental music and female vocals. This deficiency was not subtle or required any a/b testing to my ears. My impression of the sound quality was consistent with the technology behind the Expanse in that there is audible impedance/material between the driver and the ear.

More headroom and treble extension in a nutshell.

What do you think about the comparison with Ether 2?

Hi, there is some overlap there in our pairings section on the main Stealth review:

https://headfonics.com/dan-clark-audio-stealth-review/2/

Also in the Cayin HA-300MK2 review, I have a section on the Stealth pairing also:

https://headfonics.com/cayin-ha-300mk2-review/2/

Hope that helps.

Question is around the Stealth, actually — to what extent do the amp and DAC pairings mentioned here for the EXPANSE also carry over to the Stealth?
