Hi Chris,

I too, still enjoy the FT1, and make it a regular in my rotation for reviews and personal listening. I completely understand the unit getting hot wearing them for long session. The multi-“fabric” pads seemed to help me a bit, but that’s the nature of closed-back headphones and thick pads. It’s a really nice headphone to listen to. Props to FiiO for making such a unit affordable, with sound to back it up.

I found that the stock pads are becomming uncomfortable after a while, my ear are touching the pads. Is it possible to get pads that are wider/deeper?

The sound is amazing. While much heavier than other closed-back headphones I have had, it doesn’t feel heavy on my head. My only gripe is the fact that while comfortable on my ears–no fatigue from hours of use–they do feel hot over my ears.
