I know right? 2 years is a long time and nothing which is such a shame because I loved the sound it was producing with the HD800 at the show. I will ask again soon if this is going to happen.

Do you have any updates when the SMS D2 dac (now model D3) will go on sale? Its been more than 2 years now and the SMSL keeps pushing the date of release, so I wonder if you ve gotten any heads up info. Thanks so much!

I did not have enough time at the show to come close to making any conclusions on which is better. Different headphones, noisy environment etc. I would need them both here for a few weeks to make any definitive comment.
